A global leading consulting organisation is looking for an outstanding Practice Leader that has a strong Consulting background within the Education sector.

Practice Leaders own the overall accountability for development of the complete operational and technical solution – contracted for by large multi-domain projects or outsourcing (complex) opportunities. Typical size of engagements will be £25-200 million with Colleges & Universities looking at large Education transformation programmes.

As a Practice Lead you will be working across the Education sector and will identify and propose specific strategies, initiatives and remedies necessary to align technology infrastructure with corporate objectives. Essentially translating customer business issues and opportunities into technical solutions to cover requirements and help achieve business goals; this involves the development of conceptual solution architectures using a combination of services and third party suppliers to produce an end to end solution.

About you
* 15 + years proven track record of in depth technical experience within consulting solutions and services
* Proven delivery of complex pragmatic solutions design within Education
* Track record of consultative selling / wider solution design; business acumen to assess opportunity
* Personal and professional credibility to challenge customer assumptions / internal responses
* Proven leadership within a virtual team environment, which encompasses a broad spectrum of technical expertise – typical background – IBM, Accenture, CSC, CapGemini etc..
* Overall accountability for the development of the complete operational and technical solutions

Furthermore, you will play a key role within the regional pre-sales bid response team: establishing customer business requirements; understanding and evaluates customer compelling events; determines which criteria forms the underlying foundation upon which the solution will be based; builds confidence with the customer and supports the Business Partner in selling the solution; Leads the production of a corresponding strategy, design and cost structure incorporating existing customer services that delivers an innovative and compelling solution for the customer.
