IT End User Computing Engineer
An IT End User Computing Engineer is required by a household name company based in Tonbridge, Kent.
The successful candidate will perform an integral role for desktop, computer software, network systems and end user training. The support function is the first line of help when customers encounter problems or defects with products and programs. They answer telephone enquiries, respond to emails and perform in-person support sessions. The support specialists need a combination of technical and interpersonal attributes, with good judgement, clear communication skills and the ability to help others.
The IT End User Computing Engineer should be able to not only support and diagnose Desktop, Laptop and Mobile problems, but be well versed in general IT practices. Having knowledge and skillsets in backend management platforms, such as SCCM and Intune would be an advantage. Additionally, as Cloud-based solutions and as Software as a Service become more prevalent, the successful candidate should also be competent in supporting this, with skills in Office365 and the Microsoft Enterprise Applications Portal being a good fit.
Along with excellent communications and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with individuals up to Director/ CEO level, you will also have the following technical experience:
-Device deployment and refresh (network patching etc.)
-Desktop/ Mobility Endpoint security
