Ecommerce Technical Architect with SFCC – Remote

eCommerce Technical Architect to join the team on a contract basis.
As the SFCC Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical Architect you will work on one of the UKs biggest Retail SFCC Commerce Cloud projects, being responsible for bringing together solution designs that allows them to maximize the business value gained by customers using your solutions.
Some of what you will be responsible for:
*Be responsible, independently for overall architectural designs, create the non-functional requirements and implement them
*Evaluate current state of architecture and platform and provide recommendations to improve performance, scalability and reliability
*Convert business requirements into a design & ability to see through the modular issues
*Quality of the overall architectural design
*Architecture Design, Solution Design, Technical consulting and Pre-Sales activities
Some of what you need:
*Extensive experience in Demandware and / or Salesforce Commerce Cloud SFCC
*Experience of working on large scale and Enterprise level eCommerce implementations in the capacity of Technical Architect
*Indepth understanding of eCommerce platforms and their architecture
*Knowledge of SOA, Process Server, Rules Engine and Web Methods
*Deep technical understanding of a broad range of web technologies
*Experience in Agile project delivery methods
*Ability to lead and mentor teams of both both technical and non-technical members
*Experience in planning, estimation, defining delivery models
*Ability to work with dispersed teams in an on/off shore delivery model
