Data Privacy Manager
The Data Privacy Manager will use their expertise in data protection requirements and practices to:
1.Provide expert data protection and privacy advice and guidance to the Group businesses, as well as to IT, HR, customer service centres and other parts of the company to identify and manage data protection risk, whilst enabling data use.
2.Review major projects, initiatives and change programmes for data protection requirements, needs and risks, and offer solutions to those identified.
3.Support supplier and new business partner engagements, including contract reviews, and supplier due diligence and oversight to help the organisation comply with data protection requirements.
4.Support the business across its insurance, financial services business, amongst others.
5.Assess and advice on data usage initiatives, in particular new proposals.
6.Provide support to those handling individual rights requests and complaints, lead training awareness initiatives, and help the business stakeholders to meet our obligations.
7.Handle ICO and regulatory enquiries and engagements; assess ICO and WP29 guidance for impacts on the organisation
8.Support the DPO in carrying out their functions under the GDPR, deputising as needed.
